高碘酸钾氧化硫堇催化光度法测定痕量锰

Catalytic Spectrophotometric Determination of Trace Manganess Base on Oxidation of Thionine by Potassium Periodate

Abstract:A new catalytic spectrophotometric method for determing trace amounts of Mn in tea has been developed. The method has high selectivity. The method is based on the catalytic effect of manganess on oxidation of thionine by potassium periodate in acetate buffer medium. The linear range for the determination of manganess is 0.0179~0.1071mg/L and the detection limit is 2.85×10 -6 g/L. The method has been used to determine trace manganess in tea samples with satisfactory results.
