对二甲苯选择性氧化合成对甲基苯甲酸

摘 要:使用1,4-二氨-2,3-二氯蒽醌(DACAQ)与N-羟基邻苯二甲酰亚胺(NHPI)非金属催化剂实现了对二甲苯空气选择性氧化合成对甲基苯甲酸。分别加入NHPI 4%(n/n)和DACAQ 1%(n/n,以反应物总量计)为催化剂,在氧气压力0.9 MPa、温度为120℃的条件下,反应2 h,对二甲苯转化率达59%,对甲基苯甲酸产品选择性达70%。与传统金属催化剂相比,采用该非金属催化体系产品选择性大大提高,为对甲基苯甲酸的工业化生产提供了一条更具吸引力的途径。

Selective Oxygenation of p-Xylene to p-Toluic Acid Catalyzed by 1,4-Diamino-2,3-dichloro-anthraquinone and N-Hydroxyphthalimide

Abstract:Selective aerobic oxidation of p-xylene to p-toluic acid was successfully achieved by the use of non-metal catalyst,N-hydroxyphthalimide(NHPI),in the presence of 1,4-diamino-2,3-dichloro-anthraquinone(DACAQ). After optimization,p-xylene was oxidized with 59% conversion and 70% selectivity for p-toluic acid at 120°C under 0.9 MPa of O2 for 2 h when NHPI(4.0%,n/n) and DACAQ(1.0%,n/n)was employed. The selectivity notably increased with this metal-free catalytic system compared with traditional metal catalyst,which may lead us to a more promising route for the industrial production of p-toluic acid.
