| Abstract:Isatin and its derivatives which have certain biological activities are important pharmaceutical intermediates and drug candidates. Three novel N-alkylated-5-nitroisatin derivatives were syn-thesized from isatin by nitration and nucleophilic substitution. The structures were identified by 1HNMR,13CNMR and MS. |
