摘　要：以5-氨基-2-甲基苯酚为起始原料，采用氯甲酸氯乙酯作为羟乙基化试剂，经羟乙基化、环化、水解反应合成目标化合物2-甲基-5-（N-羟乙基）氨基苯酚。产品结构经过红外光谱、核磁共振氢谱、质谱分析验证。该方法反应选择性高、收率高、易分离提纯、易操作。

Study on the Synthesis of 2-Methyl-5-hydroxyethylaminophenol

Abstract：5-Amino-2-methylphenol was hydroxyethylated with chloroethyl chloroformate，followed by cyclization and hydrolysis to give the title compound. The product was confirmed with 1H NMR，IR and MS spectra. This method has the advantages of high yield and selectivity，less by-products and easy operation.
