Synthesis of 4-Chloro-4,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one.

Abstract：4 Chloro 4,5 dimethyl 1,3 dioxolan 2 one was synthesized from 3 hydroxy 2 butanone by acylation and cyclization, the yield was above 86%.
