Abstract:Flometoquin was synthesized by 4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenol and 1-chloro-2-methyl-4-nitrobenzene as and its structure was confirmed starting from 1H NMR and LC-MS. The bioassay results indicated that flometoquin exhibited good insecticidal activity against Aphis fabae of homoptera, and it also had 90% insecticidal activities at 50 mg/L. It exhibited weak insecticidal activity against Tetranychus urticae, it had less than 50% insecticidal activities at 500 mg/L.
