交联配方组分对微交联聚丙烯力学性能的影响

摘 要:以过氧化二异丙苯(DCP)为引发剂,二硫化四甲基秋兰姆(TMTD)为交联助剂,研究了4种交联单体,三烯丙基异三聚氰酸酯(TAIC)、二乙烯基苯(DVB)、N,N-亚甲基双丙烯胺(MBA)和硫磺(S),对PP力学性能的影响。在此基础上,考察了DCP、TMTD和DVB之间的相互作用对PP力学性能的影响,并对其相互作用机理进行了探讨。研究结果表明,当PP/DCP/TMTD/DVB的比例为100/0.2/0.05/0.4时,DVB交联的PP力学性能达到最佳值,其拉伸屈服强度、弯曲强度和冲击强度相对纯PP分别提高了20%、32%和75%。DCP、TMTD、DVB这三者之间的相互关系为:DCP抑制TMTD与PP进行反应、DCP促进DVB与PP进行交联、TMTD抑制DVB与PP进行交联。

Effect of Composition in Crosslinking Formulas on Mechanical Properties of Light-crosslinked Polypropylene

Abstract:The effect of four kinds of crosslinking monomers including triallyl isopropyl cyanide (TAIC), divinylbenzene(DVB), N,N-methylenebispropylamine (MBA) and sulfur(S) on the mechanical properties of chemically-modified PP were investigated using dicumyl peroxide (DCP) as initiator and tetramethyl thiuram disulfide (TMTD) as cross-linking co-agent. On the basis of this, the effects of the interaction between DCP, TMTD and DVB on the mechanical properties of chemically-modified PP were studied in detail, and the interaction mechanism was discussed. The results showed that when the ratio of PP/DCP/TMTD/crosslinker was of 100/0.2/0.05/0.4, the mechanical properties of chemically-modified PP were the best, and the tensile yield strength, flexural strength and impact strength were increased by 20%, 32% and 75%, respectively, compared to those of pure PP. The interrelationships between DCP, TMTD and DVB were as following: DCP inhibited the reaction of TMTD with PP, DCP promoted the crosslinking of DVB with PP, and TMTD inhibited the crosslinking of DVB with PP.
