相反转法水性环氧树脂的制备及其固化工艺优化

摘 要:选用吐温60、聚乙二醇4000与环氧树脂E-44反应合成了水性环氧树脂乳化剂WT6P4,再将其以相反转法乳化制备水性环氧树脂乳液WT6P4-E44。通过红外光谱证实了环氧基与醇羟基发生了反应,生成了醚键亲水基团,探讨了相反转过程的电导率的变化,研究了乳化剂用量、搅拌速度及反应温度对乳液粒径分布和稳定性的影响,采用差示扫描量热法研究WT6P4-E44的固化行为。结果表明:在乳化剂用量为16%,搅拌速度为600 r/min,相反转温度为65 ℃时的条件下,制得的乳液粒径最小为53 nm,且各项稳定性较好。通过外推法确定固化工艺条件为60 ℃ 1 h、100 ℃ 2 h以及150 ℃ 1 h。

Preparation of Waterborne Epoxy Resin by Phase Inversion Method and the Optimization of Its Curing Process

Abstract:Waterborne epoxy resin emulsifier WT6P4 was synthesized from the reaction of Tween 60, PEG 4000 and epoxy resin E-44, and then it was emulsified by a reverse conversion method to obtain waterborne epoxy resin emulsion WT6P4-E44. The reaction between the epoxy group and the al-cohol hydroxyl groups was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy as the formation of hydrophilic groups of ether bonds. The changes of electrical conductivity in the reverse conversion process were investigated, and the effects of emulsifier dosage, stirring speed and reaction temperature on the particle size distribution and stability of the emulsion were studied. The results showed that the stability of the emulsions with a minimum particle size of 53 nm were good under the conditions of 16% emulsifier dosage, 600 r/min stirring speed and 65 ℃ phase inversion temperature. The curing conditions including 1 h at 60 ℃ , then 2 h at 100 ℃ and at last 1 h at 150 ℃ were determined by extrapolation.
