磺酸树脂催化合成尼泊金酯的研究

摘 要:以对羟基苯甲酸(PHBA)和丁醇为原料,用磺酸树脂作催化剂,催化合成了尼泊金丁酯,优化反应条件为:n(丁醇) ∶ n(对羟基苯甲酸)=5 ∶ 1,催化剂磺酸树脂的用量为对羟基苯甲酸质量的21%,反应温度为回流温度,反应时间为5 h。尼泊金丁酯收率可达82.6%,催化剂可重复使用,产品结构用红外光谱图进行了表征。该方法也适合于合成尼泊金戊酯。

Synthesis of Parabens Catalyzed by Sulfoacid Resin

Abstract:Butyl p-hydroxybenzoate was synthesized from p-hydroxybenzoic acid and butanol with sulfoacid resin as catalyst. The optimum conditions were as follow: ratio of n-butanol, p-hydroxybenzoic acid and sulfonic acid resin was 0.25 mol ∶ 0.05 mol ∶ 1.5 g, refluxing for 5 h using water separator at the reflow reaction temperature. Under the optimal conditions, the yield of butyl p-hydroxybenzoate reached 82.6%. These products were characterized by measuring melting point and IR. The method was also propitious to synthesize amyl p -hydroxybenzoate.
